The operatic lyric mezzo-soprano Ebba Lejonclou

was born in Linköping, Sweden

and graduated from the Stockholm University of the Art’s program for Opera Vocal Performance in June 2024. Previously Ebba received her Bachelor’s degree in classical singing from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig (2021) and before that she studied voice and piano for two years at the Vadstena Folkhögskola, majoring in interpretation of art song.

This year, Ebba will be a soloist with the

Norrköping Symphony Orchestra,

on several occations; at a big Anniversary Concert in March, together with the choir of the De Geer-gymnasiet and a large number of further soloists, at the grand Academic Gala Concert in May with the choirs of LiU as well as the Summer Concert in August, in collaboration with the Vadstena Academy.

Ebba will be one of the soloists at the international music festival

Valdres Sommersymfoni,

where she will participate in a large number of various concerts.

The festival will take place on June 25-29, 2025.

In the fall of 2025, Ebba will return to the big stage at the

Royal Swedish Opera,

to sing the role of Kuchtík in A. Dvořák's Rusalka.

Performances are given between Sep 27-Nov 12 2025.

In the summer, Ebba returns as a soloist to the well reputed Swedish summer opera stage of the

Vadstena Academy,

where she will sing the roles of Antigona in L. Macia's baroque opera Alessandro in Susa at the Vadstena Castle as well as Mademoiselle Y in the contemporary opera Den Starkare by M. Hallin at Vadstena Old Theatre.

Both performances will premiere on July 24.
