Swedish lyric mezzo-soprano Ebba Lejonclou
graduated from the Stockholm University of the Art’s program for Opera Vocal Performance in June 2024. Previously Ebba received her Bachelor’s degree in classical singing from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig (2021) and before that she studied voice and piano at the Vadstena Folkhögskola, majoring in interpretation of art song.

Ebba is this year's Hillevi Martinpelto Scholarship holder
Since 1997, Swedish Court Singer
Hillevi Martinpelto has awarded an annual scholarship to promising young musicians with ties to the town of Hedemora, Sweden. Ebba is the 2025 recipient of this honor, and will be presented with the scholarship during a concert this fall.
